Experienced services effectiveness and improvement practitioner with twenty years of applying theory and method in a range of organisations. I hold a BA (hons) and an MA from The University of York, an MSc in lean operations (services) from Cardiff University and a PG cert in systems thinking and practice from the Open University.
I have worked as an independent consultant since 2006 initially using lean six sigma, lean and then the Vanguard Method. I worked with Professor John Seddon at Vanguard Consulting and from 2008-2014 I also ran and edited an online magazine The Systems Thinking Review.
Lately I have completed a three year contract as an internal consultant with the largest distance learning University in the U.K. I have just completed a study of Fire as a system in a leading U.K. social housing provider and am currently leading a Project Management team in an International digital education business, and advising on an international digital learning project.
